BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Contact is always looking for enthusiastic Volunteers to join our friendly team. We have a Vibrant drop-in centre with a large range of activities that run on a day-to-day basis. We also have our busy cafe which serves hot and cold food and drinks and light meals. 

There are many different types of volunteers at Contact, so it is important to find out which role is best for you!

- Helping out with the Contact Cafe, preparing and serving food and drinks (A food hygiene certificate is required for this role. The cost for this will be covered by Contact.)

- If you have skills that you would like to bring to Contact, you could start your own activity, for example, Beginner's Art, painting, drawing or perhaps a Technology Support Group. 

Teach Social Media, creating, accessing and using emails or the use of smartphones. These are all the things that our members will be interested in. 

Volunteering can be very awarding, even a few hours per week would be most helpful to us. 

All Volunteers are subject to a Basic DBS Check, the cost of which will be covered by Contact.
